North up the A1 to Washington Services then take A194M.

Continue on A194M then A194 for 7 miles then just after A19 at roundabout turn right onto A1300.

Continue on A1300 for 2 miles then at roundabout turn left onto A1018 towards Town Centre.

Continue on A1018 for for 3/4 of a mile. After passing the "County" pub on your left within 100yds you will reach a roundabout. Turn left and the ground is directly on your left (opposite the Mecca Bingo).

Alternatively:

Leave the A1 at Dishforth to take the A168 then A19.

A19 travel North past Nissan factory and straight ahead at next roundabout. Take slip road to the left signposted "South Shields", joining the A194 detailed above. Turn right at roundabout and after 100 yards turn right at roundabout for the A1300. See below A1300.
