Harrogate’s improved form continues with this home win over Bradford & Bingley and kept a clean sheet in the process.
The home side were ahead on 14 minutes when full back Ed Smithies went over for a try. It was 10-0 five minutes later when flanker Ryan Peachy touched down in the final score of the half.
It was not till the 73rd minute that the score changed with Smithies completing a double and this time Nick Wainwright converted. They wrapped up the win and collected the try bonus point on 80 minutes when replacement Tristan Laga went over and Gate were up into sixth place in the table.
Beverley 6 Macclesfield 21

Just what Macclesfield needed as they try and escape the relegation zone and they are now five points behind 11th placed West Park St Helens.
Charles Winney put the visitors ahead with a penalty goal inside two minutes.
The home side were next to score and drew level with Ian Archibald put over a 25th minute penalty goal. Winney made it 6-3 on the half hour mark and when he converted a Richard Hughes try on 36 minutes it was 13-3 but on 40 minutes Archibald slotted a second penalty goal to get them within seven of the visitors.
In the 58th minute Macc went further ahead when Winney dropped a goal. The win was sealed when left wing Chris Jones went over in the 77th minute.
Fylde 34 Leicester Lions 34

10 try match with the home side out scoring the visitors six tries to four but the kicking proved vital as the Lions got a share of the points.
The home side were 10-0 ahead after 10 minutes with tries form hooker Holmes and winger Brennand.
Leftwing Gareth Roberts got the visitors off the mark with a 16th minute try and Jon Boden converted.
Fylde responded with two more tries as they secured the try bonus point on the half hour mark as they went 22-7 ahead. The tries came from scrum half Craig Aikman and hooker Alan Holmes and Jon Armstrong converted the fourth try.
In first half injury time the Lions changed the match with two converted tries as Roberts completed a double and full back Gareth Collins touched down and Boden converted both to make it a one point game 22-21.
Fylde started the half the better with a two try burst in the opening seven minutes as the other winger Nick Royle went over and Aikman completed a double to make it 34-21.
Collins completed a double for the lions on 52 minutes and Boden converted to make it 34-28. Boden pulled three points back with a penalty goal and in injury time tied the scores with another penalty goal.
Both sides took three points with Fylde moving up to sixth place and the Lions remaining in second place seven points clear of Darlington Mowden Park in the battle for second place.
Tynedale 34 West Park St Helens 3

Tynedale made it 18 wins out of 19 with this home success over West Park St Helens who are now only five points above the relegation zone.
Andy Soutar gave the visitors the lead with a 3-0 lead on four minutes. The lead lasted eight minutes when Phil Belgian replied. Late in the half lock Stuart Walker went over for the games opening try and Belgian converted for a 10-3 half time lead.
It took till the 66thminute for the next score as Tynedale got try number two as right wing Jack Smales went over and it was 15-3. A third try came on 74 minutes when Smales completed a double and this time Belgian converted fro 22-3.
The try bonus point arrived on 76 minutes when full back Robert Miller went over to make it 27-3. They wrapped up the win with fly half Gavin Beasley touching down and Belgian converting.
The win sees the home side go 22 points ahead at the top of the table with seven matches remaining.
The away side did not help their cause with some ill discipline as they had two players binned and one sent off.
Caldy 21 Darlington 27

Darlington Mowden Park pick up an away win at Caldy and move ahead on Rugby Lions by three points.
Caldy got the better start with winger Gavin Roberts putting over a 3rd minute penalty goal. 20 minutes later full back Ben Wylie went over for a try and four minutes later they were in for a 2nd try as fly half Matt Pennington touched down and this time Roberts converted to make it 15-0. Tries in the last ten minutes of the half saw from second row Luke Monument and No 8 Scott Riddell, converted by John Benson, saw the visitors go in just a point down at the break.
Two minutes into the second and DMP were ahead after Benson put over a penalty goal.
Roberts replied for Caldy with penalties on 49 and 60 minutes as the home side went 21-17 ahead.
On 68 minutes the visitors were backing front as prop Dan Miller touched down and replacement Martin Featherstone converted for a 24-21 lead.
Featherstone wrapped up the win on 71 minutes when he put over a penalty goal.
Hull Ionians 22 Rugby Lions 15

Rugby Lions suffered a disappointing defeat at Hull Ionians after leading 12-3 at half time.
The Lions were ahead when second row Stuart Riding went over for a try and a 5-0 lead. Fly half Chris Quinn got the home side on the scoreboard with a 21st minute but on 34 minutes winger Chris Murphy touched down and this time James Hawken converted.
In the opening minute of the 2nd half Hawken out over a penalty goal for the visitors to make it 15-3.
The Ionians comeback started on 67 minutes when winger Gary Stephenson went over the Lions try line and they were seven points behind.
On 76 minutes it was all level as Replacement Karl Birch went over for a try and converted.
The winning score came on 80 minutes when left wing Joe Donkin went over and Birch converted to wrap up the win.
The win moved Ionians up into fifth place in the table whilst the Lions drop ten points behind second placed Leicester Lions.
Morley 15 Preston Grasshoppers 17

Preston are up into eighth place after this away win at Morley in a closely fought match with both sides scoring three tries.
Hoppers were 12-0 ahead after 14 minutes as full back Oliver Viney and centre Abraham Pieterse went over and Darren Wilson added a conversion.
Morley were on the scoreboard on 25 minutes when winger John Hampsey went over and they went in seven points down at the break.
10 minutes into the 2nd half and centre Mark Pease went over and it was a two point game. In the 68th minute Hampsey went over for a second try, his 14th of the season and Morley were 15-12 ahead.
Hoppers sneaked the win on 80 minutes when flanker Glyn Dewhurst went over and it was 17-15.
