Beverley 5 Leicester Lions 54

Leicester Lions were comfortable away winners at Beverley running in eight tries with winger Gareth Roberts leading the way with a four try haul. The visitors were over the home line on two minutes when second row Chris Jones went over and Jon Boden converted. 10 minutes later hooker John Williamson went over and Boden was again on target for 14-0. Beverley were off the mark on 21 minutes when flanker Tony Ribey went over for an unconverted try. The try bonus point was in the bag by half time as Williamson completed a double and winger Roberts went over for his first of the afternoon. In the second half they scored four more tries with Roberts getting three more and fly half Boden got the other as he completed a 19 point haul.
Fylde 27 Darlington Mowden Park 34

Darlington Mowden Park pick up an excellent away win at Fylde and take the try bonus point as well leaving Fylde with just a losing bonus point. DMP were first on the scoreboard when centre Charlie Rayner put over a penalty goal on 18 minutes. They got the games opening try on the half hour mark when winger James Clark went over and they were 8-0 ahead. Two minutes later winger Ollie Brennand went over for Fylde and Jon Armstrong converted. Four minutes later and Clark completed a double and Rayner converted for 15-7. Armstrong put over a penalty goal but in injury time full back Iain Dixon went over and Rayner converted for 22-10. Armstrong pulled three points back in the eighth minute of the 2nd half but the visitors had the try bonus point in the bag four minutes later when scrum half Chris Clark went over. DMP were 34-13 when Dixon completed a double and Rayner converted. Fylde were over the visitors try line twice in the final quarter as Brennand competed a double and winger Nick Royle went over and Armstrong converted them both to claim a losing bonus point.
Harrogate 27 Caldy 11

Harrogate are up into eighth place after this home win over Caldy at Claro Road and are one of four sides tied on 40 points in a congested mid table. Simon Mason gave Caldy the lead with an early penalty goal but on 14 minutes home No 8 Ryan Peachey went over for a try and a 5-3 lead. Mason kicked the visitors back in front on 22 minutes and four minutes later it was 11-5 as winger Craig Ross touched down.Five minutes into the 2nd half and the home side were back in front as right wing Harry Duthie went over and Nick Wainwright converted for 12-11. Two minutes later and Peachey completed a double to give the home side a 17-11 lead. Two late tries saw the home side pull away and take the try bonus point as scrum half Andy Brown went over and then Duthie completed a double.
Hull Ionians 35 West Park St Helens 19

Hull Ionians were back on form with this home win over West Park to move up the table into fifth place and West Park drop down to 11th place in the table. West Park were first on the scoreboard when fly half Rob Hitchmough went over and Andy Soutar converted for 7-0. They kept the lead till the 25th minute when winger Gary Stephenson and James Ferguson converted. Four minutes later and Park were back in front as winger Soutar went over and converted but before the half time whistle full back Sean Hannah went over and the visitors were two points ahead at the break. Nine minutes into the 2nd half and Ferguson put over a penalty goal to go 15-14 ahead. Soutar completed a double 14 minutes later to make it 15-19. Just after the hour mark Ionians were back in front when second row Chris Fores went over and two minutes later they went six points clear when centre Greg Bone touched down. Ferguson missed the conversion but did get the fifth try on 74 minutes. The home side wrapped up the win on 76 minutes when Stephenson completed a double.
Morley 13 Macclesfield 0

Morley close to within a point of Macclesfield after this home win over the Cheshire side but are still 11 points behind West Park St Helens and safety. Morley went ahead on four minutes when fly half Glenn Boyd went over for a penalty goal. In the 18th minute winger John Hampsey went over for his 8th try of the season and an 8-0 lead which they took into the half time break. It was not till the 79th minute that Morley sealed the win when flanker Craig Field went over for a try, his 7th of the season.
Rugby Lions 57 Preston Grasshoppers 7

Rugby Lions are fourth in the table after this nine try display over Preston Grasshoppers. It took them 15 minutes to go ahead with hooker Sam Overton going over for the first try and a 5-0 lead. Scrum half Toby Handley got the second try and this time James Hawken converted for 12-0. In the second half they ran in seven more tries with the try bonus point secured after flanker Tristan Prosser Shaw went over on 50 minutes for a 24-0 lead.Hoppers did manage a try when winger Russell Flynn went over on 68 minutes and Gerhard Boshoff converted but the score was already 36-0 when they got on the scoreboard. The Lions finished strongly with three tries in the final 10 minutes to wrap up the win.
Tynedale 38 Bradford & Bingley 9

Leaders Tynedale were convincing winners over Bradford & Bingley to maintain their 15 point lead at the top of the table. Tynedale were over the visitors try line in the opening five minutes as hooker Matthew Fieldhouse went over and they were 5-0 ahead. Tom Rhodes got the visitors on the board with a 12th minute penalty goal and two more late in the half were enough to give them a 9-5 half time lead. In the second half it took the home side six minutes to turn it round and go ahead as No 8 Andrew Murray went over and captain Phil Belgian converted for 12-9. Just before the hour mark Fieldhouse completed a double and Belgian converted for 19-9. The try bonus point was secured on 63 minutes when replacement prop Jonny Williams went over and they got two more tries late in the game to seal the win.
